Fab Freebie: West In Show

***Uh oh – looks like we like we hit capacity on this post with over 10,000 comments! But this giveaway is closed anyways, so I guess it’s okay.***

It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). And not that you asked, but if you need any help picking out what to buy – might we suggest some of these lurvely items below (Sherry had trouble picking just six things, so we added an extra row and went with nine):

West Elm Moodboard

Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Front & Main actually officially launches next week, but they’re giving all of us a sneak peek today. Oh and if you scroll down a bit while you’re there, you might recognize some familiar faces…

West Elm Blog

  • PRIZE: A $500 gift card to West Elm (!!)
  • TO ENTER: Comment on THIS OTHER POST with the words “WEST ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …since we’re celebrating starting our blog four years ago, tell us how your world is different than it was in 2007. Do you live in a new place? Have a new job? Are you in a new relationship? Or maybe you just have a new hairdo or tattoo?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, September 21st at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perked for hosting this giveaway, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of West Elm.

I live in a different state (swapped PA for MI), am now married with two kids so yeah – a few changes that could surely justify a shopping spree at West Elm!

    WEST ME…
Since 2007, my family has grown! My father remarried and I gained a step-mom, brother, sister, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law in the process. Plus all three of my brothers had kids so I now have two more nephews and a niece!

The difference between our 2007 and 2011 lives in timeline order: new house, new dog, new car, new state, new job, new house (but we still have the other new house too; fortunately it has tenants in it!), and two new kiddos. No wonder I’m so exhausted!

West me! Hmmm, since ’07 – got married, moved to a new place (no rent, no mortgage with over 2,000 sqft of living space, catch you have to be a pastor) had a baby (will be 2 on Oct. 8th (Pray for me) and have done several home remod projects including stained concrete for a screened in sunroom (Luv it). It was this blog that inspired the project and gave me the confidence to get ‘er done. So thanks and <>

This blog is like my bible…I see every post almost as soon as you upload it! We have DIY’d so much stuff in our new home curtesy of the Young House Love blog. A $500 gift card to West Elm would be well earned since we have pinched pennies along the way!

    Thanks for bloggin’ on!

I graduated from high school in 2007. This year, I’m starting my last year of undergrad. In 2007, I didn’t worry too much about what to do–I mean, I knew I would go to college in CO and that getting in would not be too difficult.
Now, the future is rather foggy and I am not sure where I wanna go with my life. Here’s hoping I figure something out soon!
