It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Hmmm…. since 2007, my life is different in that now I’m an athlete, and I wasn’t before. Two triathlons, five half-marathons, and too many little races to count since then. Running my first marathon in Jan 2012! Oh, yes, I am minus my gallbladder also.

Our dog, Cameron, has been the biggest change for us over the past four years…he’s been paralyzed since Oct 2007. We have learned to live with and care for a special needs dog, and most importantly, we continue to love him unconditionally. :) He tools around in a rad doggie wheelchair, has been to the mountains, and is beach bum almost every weekend..life is still good for our little guy. :) He’s the best dog in the whole world and makes our family of five and furry (not us; our two cats and Poodle aka Cameron – why that nickname?…not sure!) 100% complete.
Love your blog, the Burgs, and lil Miss C. You guys are great and a constant source of entertainment and how-to. Congrats on Year 4!
