It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). My world is much different than 2007. In 2007 I was a junior in college and finishing up my Social Work degree in Jackson, TN. Now I have moved to Nashville, TN and am working as a social worker in the hospital. I am now married as well.

“WEST ME” … In 2007, my husband was still my fiance. We were renters, not homeowners. I graduated from law school in January, took the bar in February and got my post-law school job in April. By September, I’d come to the realization that I was much happier as a writer than as a lawyer.

Wow- four years ago… so much has changed since then. Infact, all of the suggested questions you posted have changed… well except for the tattoo. Four years ago I was still in college, living with the parents. Now I’ve graduated, work full time, live on my own, and am no longer in the relationship I was then. Hmmm, let’s see, 2007 was the year I met my now husband. That same year we bought our first house together AND got engaged and adopted our first puppy together (Jake, a Leonberger).
Now, 4 years later, we’re celebrating our THIRD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TODAY!! And we’re expecting our first child (a son) in February 2012!!
Life is grand, that’s for sure :)
