It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). 4 years ago, I was graduating college and living in a friend’s basement — now I have a great job, and bought a condo 2 and a half years ago… I am just now getting the funds to start really redecorating, and there are these fabulous slate blue dining chairs that I still just can’t dare to spend $300+ for two… Trust me my dining room is quite sad and in need of serious love – NOTHING new in 2 and half years and the dining set is the one my parents bought when they were married 34 years ago! :)

Since 2007 I have gotten married, bought our first house, had our first child, got promoted at work, got my second tattoo and chopped my long locks into a very short bob.
