Fab Freebie: West In Show (Continued)

Well, after a blog-busting (literally) 18,018 entries across two posts (the first one got overloaded after reaching 10,680 entries so we had to start a second one) we finally have one lucky winner in what has become our biggest giveaway to date. In case anyone was worried about how this would all be tallied, we used random.org to generate a random number between 1 and 18,018 and located the comment that correlated with that number across both posts (although you guys can no longer access the comments on the first post, they’re all visible to us in our WordPress dashboard, so we were also able to confirm that our winner did not have any duplicate entries as we always do). So let’s get to the good news: the winner of a $500 West Elm gift card is… CATHERINE (who must be a Richmonder because she, like us, is sad that our local Short Pump West Elm store is no longer open). Congrats Catherine – and happy shopping! Not that we’re jealous. Wait, we are.

Wow, so apparently we hit comment capacity on our big $500 blogiversary giveaway from West Elm. We didn’t even know that could happen! It appears that the original post is too overloaded to accept any more comments, but the ones that were entered will still be counted (so please don’t enter again on this one if you already entered that one or your entries will be invalidated).

We’ve created this post to continue accepting new entries (from folks who didn’t enter the first one) until the giveaway ends at 8pm EST on Wednesday, September 21st OR when this post reaches 10,000 comments, whichever comes first. To recap, we’ve included the entry instructions and details below.

    Ha, how has my life not changed since 2007??? I got married, built a house, sold the house, built another house, lived in a trailer, lived in my in-laws basement, sold the new house, and now live in a condo while we build another! Whew, when I write that out it sounds exhausting. (and it was :))

    4 years ago, I married my husband, had a baby and bought a house all within the same year. Now we are expecting a little girl in less than 3 weeks! Freaking out since our 3 year old son isn’t too keen on sharing his momma. Tested out that theory with my brothers 7 month old daughter.

    WEST ME!-I have since gotten married, left my home state of Illinois for Oklahoma then Memphis (I’m married to a football coach), and become a stay at home mom! Nothing big ;)

    West me! Since 2007, I’ve stopped selling cars so I can stay at home with my son and work part time at the family business. Fun stuff! I would use that west elm $$ to spruce up our family room. :)

    since 2007 i got engaged and married, graduated college, started a new job, survived my husband’s 6-month deployment, ran my first half-marathon, moved from virginia to florida and back again (courtesy of my husband’s career in the navy) bought our first home, traveled out of the country for the first time and have since visited 11 new countries (again, courtesy of my husband’s navy career & love of traveling), and welcomed my first nephew into the world just 2 weeks ago!

    West Me!! pretty, pretty please West me!?!?

    For the first time in what seems like forever, my life has settled down and remained pretty consistent over the last four years…been married for 8, lived in our house for 7, have 5 and 7 year old boys and have been at my job for 6. The last four have been a breather!!

    WEST ME! Wow – The four-years-ago me was so different!! That’s when I used to think that “decorated” and “designed” were interchangable terms, and that I had to buy the full set of things for it all to “go” (ie: bedspread, curtains, sheets, pillows, etc). Now, I’m enjoying mixing it up, playing not only with patterns but textures as well, and finding a mix that’s “just me.” Oh, and I get to do it all in a new house, with a husband, two kids and a dog, none of which I had four years ago either ;-)

    West me!
    My 2011 life is quite different to my 2007 life. I was in grad school and renting a 1-br apartment. We purchased our own home 10 months ago and now I spend an inordinate amount of time and money (well – a lot of money for me at least) trying to make it pretty.

    WEST ME! Since 2007 I’ve gotten married, am living in a different city, have a new job and we are about to close on a new house. Oh yeah, and I’m pregnant with our first. Yay!

    WEST ME!! Because I did almost all of those things! In 2007 I moved into my first house, and since then I’ve found a new job, got a new haircut (a bad one AND a good one!), and got a tattoo! Still with my same ol hubby, but that’s ok :)

    Hey there! How my life has changed since 2007: graduated college, volunteered in Israel for a year, got MARRIED, ended up MOVING TO ISRAEL, reality hit, learned a new language (HE-to-the-BREW!), moved 4 times, switched jobs… a LOT has happened since 2007! i wouldn’t mind me a ‘lil west elm gift card awaiting me in Chicago when i visit for christmas:)

    Since 2007 I’ve changed just about all of the things that you mentioned: first condo, new job, new hairdo (shorter), and two new tattoos :)
