Raise your hand if you know what a bathymetric chart is. I didn’t before this giveaway, but it’s basically like a topographic map for what lies underwater. But the more important thing to know is that the married duo behind Below the Boat turns these charts into gorgeous, laser-cut, hand-assembled works of art.     BOAT ME! We live in Boston and spend many summer weekends boating…the boat of our choice is an MJM built right here in Boston and it is styled after a Hinkley picnic boat!

    We’d go out on a sail boat! These are really great! My husband is on a submarine and loves maps! He’d love to have the one of Puget Sound, so I’ll have to remember this! Happy New Year!!

    Boat me! I’d love to sail on small dinghies. Hobie Cats and lasers are a ton of fun on summer lakes or small bays. Or getting a bit bigger, I’d love to go out on one of the America’s Cup catamarans.

    BOAT ME! There’s a store here in Annapolis that sells these and I’ve always been really taken with them.

    We’re a boat town, and even though I’m not a sailor I love the look of the big catamaran boats where you can lay around on the fabric between the hulls.

    Definitely kayaking! The hubby and I recently got to try it for the first time and we are in love!! Great sport!
