Raise your hand if you know what a bathymetric chart is. I didn’t before this giveaway, but it’s basically like a topographic map for what lies underwater. But the more important thing to know is that the married duo behind Below the Boat turns these charts into gorgeous, laser-cut, hand-assembled works of art. They’re beautifully intricate and fascinatingly detailed. And they’ve got lots of bodies of water from the east coast, west coast, and even some lakes in between.     We sailed along the Gulf Coast for years before moving west. Would love to give my hubby a map of that area we loved.

    Boat me. Actually I get horribly seasick, so boats and I don’t really get along that well. But give me an inner tube and a river to float on and I’m good. ^_^

    BOAT ME! For going any kind of distance, a large cruise ship is the way to go, but for leisurely floating, I’d pick a sailboat!

    BOAT ME! I’d love to take a chartered sailboat somewhere exotic – something small enough to jump off of into the warm waters and something large enough that I don’t need to do any work!

    I used to live on a lake… miss getting out on the water with a ski boat! I absolutely LOVE maps!! These are gorgeous. Even if I don’t win, I will definitely be shopping.
