Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

    TILE ME!
This giveaway is an example of “the right place at the right time” since literally yesterday we got news that our master bathroom shower has started to leak. We are going to have to replace the entire shower and start from scratch.
That’s not that only thing, just for fun, I pointed out the ceiling above the kitchen because I thought it was looking like it was “bowing” down…. It turns out that the window right above (in another area of the master bathroom) is leaking when it rains. That window is right by the tub that now will need to be replaced too (I can send pictures if you’d like).
It looks like I am going to be renovating our entire bathroom after we fix the window and leaking shower pipe this week. Fun huh? And also, my wife and I just got married 16 days ago and have owned this house for 363 days….
Haha, I guess that is life. Thanks for everything and all the inspiration that we have from your blog.

We are ready to tile a backsplash in our laundry room. It’s in the basement so it seems so dreary. I’ve finally convinced my husband that tile would make it seems so fresh and maybe I would enjoy being in there!

    TILE ME!!!
My parents are currently building the home that they are hoping to retire in. My mother just asked me today if I can help her pick out tile, because the selection process is stressing her out! Tile for bathroom floors, shower walls, the laundry room, and the pool! (and I’d like to convince my Dad to let us splurge on back-splash tile in the kitchen).
    Love you guys!

It would be so exciting to win! I just know that winning news would make everyone in our flu-ridden house feel better!

Tile Me! A friend turned me on to this blog a few months ago, and I love checking in every day :) I saw the ad for the Tile Shop on the blog and wondered if we had a TS in Durham, NC. We don’t, but Raleigh does! And… they honor the YHL10 coupon code (once, they even gave me 15% off) Ever since, I’ve been tile shopping at the Tile Shop. Since January, I’ve tiled my kitchen floor, a backsplash (if you’re looking for a white subway tile, check out the matte-finish white subway at TS. It’s GORGEOUS- I couldn’t be happier with it.) And next… I’m tiling my bathroom floor and shower. I already have some sweet TS tile picked out. Thanks YHL for sharing all of your DIY knowledge (It’s given me courage to DIMyself, which is a HUGE gift). AND it turned me on to the Tile Shop. Love that place (they host FREE classes every Saturday, and they have tons of design ideas.) Good Luck Everybody with this Fab Freebie :).
