Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

Tile me! We are renovating our bathroom in our first house, and the shower is an old tired insert. Afraid to find out what is underneath it… but with The Tile Shops help and $1,500, we may gain some courage!

    TILE ME!!

We could use this so badly! You see, my husband started a remodel on the master bathroom when I was 4 months pregnant for my son. Due to money issues and just life in general taking care of a newborn, the project has been completely neglected. Like, my son is 16 (soon to be 17) months old and there is still not even a toilet in there, as he had to tear everything down to the studs. Don’t get me wrong, he does amazing work, but I guess you could say that life just got in the way :)

This would be absolutely AMAZING for us!

holy moly would I love this freebie! We are renters but since we plan on being here for a while, any upgrades we do, the landlords will take off of the rent. Which would mean not only would we get to have all new tile and yank out this nasty white shiny stuff in our kitchen – we could also take 1500 bucks off of our rent!!! Double Bonus!

I so need this! We just moved into a house on the property of the youth camp we work for and since it is a non-profit and the camp paid for the house, the finishes are the least expensive possible, so I could replace all the sheet vinyl in the bathrooms, mud room and laundry room!

Where to start? The master bath that I call the stupid bathroom? Worst remodel ever. Or the second bathroom that hasn’t been updated since the house was built in 1949? Or the bathroom in the basement that doesn’t exist but is on my to-do list? Yeah, I can find a home for all that tile.
