Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

We’re in the middle of finishing our un-finished basement and one of the final projects on the list will be tiling the bathroom floor and shower. This giveaway would really make that last project the icing on the cake for the looong process :)

Tile me, please! I don’t think I can stand to look at my bathroom tile very much longer! It’s white and constantly looks dirty, no matter when it’s been washed (pretty much daily!). My knees are going to have permanent tile indentations if I have to keep washing them so frequently! I’d LOVE a chance for some bright and beautiful tiles in my very small bathroom and since summer is fast approaching, I want to be able to wear skirts and shorts without octagonal shapes on my legs, too.

For some ODD reason the previous owners of our house splurged for all kinds of upgrades, but went cheap on the master bath flooring and installed…wait for it…CARPET! DISGUSTING! So replacing the carpet with tile would be FABULOUS and good for our health and my sanity :-)

Tile me! Our upstairs bathroom is in desperate need of a renovation. We have a town-house style condo built in 1986 and the bathroom has not been updated at all since then. It was a rental for 23 years (until we bought it and started fixing up the place). Between the peeling vinyl, the cheapest possible fixtures, the discolored and warped acrylic tub/surround, and the decades of filth left by tenants, it is downright disgusting. We dream of a tear-down renovation for it, and $1500 from the Tile Shop would go a HUGE way toward making that dream come true!

TILE ME! Oh my gosh, what an enormously generous giveaway! I am so gonna cross my fingers and keep them taped that way until you announce the winner. I have such a teeny cottage that I could probably do both of my bathrooms with this giveaway. They are in DESPERATE need of reno-ing and my hubs is away this week at a tiling conference (for work) so he should be ready and able to work on my projects when he gets back :)

Awesome stuff! Thanks for the chance to win!
