Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! We are getting ready to add a tub to our bathroom. Currently we have a handicap shower from the previous owner. We have plans tile the back splash in the bathroom. We are also going to tear up the linoleum floor in our kitchen and replace it with tile. We are seriously in the market for some tile! :-)

    TILE ME!!

I wouldn’t know where to start. Our home was built in the 70s of sale and scrap materials – we have six different linoleums throughout the house, ALL of which could use replacing. Oh, and all the bathrooms could use a floor-to-ceiling makeover. The kitchen, bless its heart, is very efficient but fairly ugly. So I’ll be dreaming about the billion different ways I could use this!

TILE ME!!! There are 2 tile projects at the Casa de Schaffer that need to be addressed:
#1 The kitchen needs a new backsplash something horrible! We currently have a lovely white laminate from the previous owners that extends to the cabinet bottom AND has a LOVELY chrome trim accenting it — not to mention it was apparently a DIY gone wrong and there are splotches of yellow/brown glue everywhere.

#2 The laundry room floor. It currently is a lovely white blue & white floral peel& stick. With a new baby, I spend a plethora of time in there and I just can’t take it anymore. It is time for a change!

My husband and I have been to The Tile Shop in our hometown so many times that it may even be considered stalking. This gift certificate would be AWESOME for us! It would make huge difference in making our home truly ours, something I have struggled with in the few years that I have been there.

TILE ME…we moved into a “fixer-upper” last June, and have two bathrooms that desperately need new tile. The grout is actually falling apart and much of the tiles themselves are cracked. Not to mention the kitchen back splash that we want to install! This would be a life-saver!!!
