Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME!!!!! I don’t normally enter these, because geez, the odds are not good. BUT I really, really need to tile the area around the bathtub (whatever that’s called!?). Right now it’s got some kind of fake black marble plastic covering. Eek! Bad, right? So I really, really need to fix it and there is simply no budget for a project like that right now. So, give-away gods, send one my way! Pleeeeeese!

We’ve been positively D-Y-I-N-G to do a slate dry stack on the back wall of our two story stairwell but haven’t been able to afford the cost of the slate. This would make our project go from dream to reality as it would pay for almost 2/3 of the stack.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us be the winners of this FANTASTIC chance to make our home’s focal point really POP!

Holy Giveaway Batman! If I had $1500 for tile and stuff I’d definitely start with my icky-stuck-in-the-70’s kitchen -new backsplash and floor. Then head to the disgustingly-pink bathroom and use tile for a new shower and floor and if there was still tile left over I’d do a new floor in the plain-as-plain-can-be laundry room.

    :)

OH MY GOSH – I freaked when I saw this!! You see, we live in a house built in 1951. We are only the second family to have ever lived in this home, and the first family, well let’s just say that the “handyman of the house” would not have very many followers on his blog. The house is a serious mess in the kitchen. Everything else is so cute and fixed up, but the kitchen, man it’s bad. Our cupboards are falling apart, there is old nasty laminate backsplash with little glitter sparkles in it behind EVERYTHING. OH how I would sooooo love a beautiful tile counter top and back splash – and with $1,500 I’m sure that would do it for my inky dinky kitchen!!!

LOVE your blog!!! Please pick us, and don’t leave us with the horror of glitter sparkles any longer!

    Thanks!!
