Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! This is tough- I’d like to do the bathroom, kitchen and fireplace surround. But I think I would have to prioritize our bathroom. Right now everything in there is pink – the toilet, tub & surround. This would be so helpful in getting our only full bathroom up to date!!

TILE ME!!!! and I would use this prize to redo our kitchen (think back splash and floor)and our master bedroom (think floor).

We are currently doing minimal renovations on the fixer-upper that we purchased in January and this would be a great prize to win, as money is starting to run low!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

We are in the midst of redoing our 49 year old original formica countertop. But were not even planning a backsplash at this time due to the cost of unexpected
add ons (like upgrading an ancient electrical system). This would let us finish
    our project.
    Love your site.

TILE ME!!! My Kitchen backsplash is in DESPERATE need of tile! If you go to my blog an see my “Staging” post, you would see pics. We had laminate countertops and backsplash. My husband tore both out right before we installed our granite countetops (almost a year ago!) and we are still looking like we live in a construction zone! The kitchen and bathroom could also use some new tile! Please…TILE ME!

Tile Me!!! We are closing on an old 1920’s Dutch Colonial in three weeks (we call her “the Dutchess”) and she is a major fixer upper. Sadly the original tile in the bathroom isn’t salvagable and we will be starting from scratch. We are also completely remodeling the kitchen (all of this before we move in ;) and will need tile for the backsplash. We could use all the help we can get!!!

Let’s see, first to go would be the ugly blue-veined tile in the bathroom surround. It screams 80’s and drives me up a wall. At least it matches the blue tub…

    TILE ME!!!!

We are in desperate need of new tile floor and shower tile in our tiny, one and only 28sq ft bathroom! We have original 1948 tile that’s cracked, breaking apart, and is becoming a safety hazard. And it’s not the cute vintage tile either. We are in the process of installing a fan and a new window in there to help with the shower mildew/smell; but that leaves us no money for tile :( I painted our bathroom cabinet this past weekend trying to make our bathroom look some what better, but the tile is just horrible nothing will help. This freebie would be soooo awesome!
