Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! Would love to use the tile for the bathroom. It’s straight from the 60’s and covered in green tile. Would love to replace the current floor tile and add a feature wall of tile behind the vanity. Thanks!

TILE ME! I have a bathroom that could use tile on every square inch – it’s a mess. Tile shower, tile walls, tile floor, tile thingy to hide the duct work, etc.

It would be a toss-up between our kitchen laminate backsplash and our main bathroom, both straight out of the 80s. Makeover, please!

TILE ME!!! I need this like I have never before needed one of your giveaways!! We just moved into a 40 year old house that has about 40 years of bad tile choices. We easily have 7 kinds of tile in the house – 10 if you count the shower surrounds, 11 if you count the kitchen counters! Good lord, do we ever need tile……

Every shower in our house could use tile. Plus our newly-created mudroom (from part of our garage) just has cement floor and could use tile, too! My plan was to learn how to tile on the mudroom floor and then do the showers. Money to do that? That’d be cool!

We just built a new house, which included picking out our own granite selection. But we didn’t want to be too vanilla and do a backsplash with their “builder” options, so we held off on that. We’d totally tile the pants off of our sexy new kitchen and butler’s pantry with this prize =)

TILE ME! The tub surround in the original bathroom of our 1920s house is leaking into the living room below, ruining the ceiling. In preparation for repairing/replacing the bathroom, we built a small 2nd bath where there once was a backstair. It took us two years, but we finished it in December (using, ahem, floor and wall tile from the Tile Shop and the YHL 10% discount!). Now we’re out of money. This freebie would allow us to get started on the original bathroom much, much sooner. Thanks, YHL and Tile Shop!
