Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

My kitchen could use a backsplash, and the master bathroom would definitely look nicer with some new tile. Either option would be wonderful. Thank you for sharing!

definetly the kitchen…backsplash behind the oven, sink and counter. And, uh, the counter itself. I’d consider tiling that rather than having the hideous, peeling, faux-wood laminate that is there now.

TILE ME . . . Our master bath is in dire need of some freshening up. I want some beautiful tile for the floors to really set the tone of the whole bathroom. And then there is the laundry area of the basement – tile may be just what we need to get the “finishing” project started.

Tile Me! We moved into our first home on New Years Day. We have an AWFUL hall bathroom floor that needs to be re-tiled. Think fish bowl marbles set in grout, covering the majority of the floor. It’s a nightmare to clean! I would love to be able to re-tile it ASAP! Thanks for the chance to win!

I am dying to upgrade the shower/tub combo that is in the master bedroom of my condo. It is currently just the builder’s basic plastic insert. I hate it and am really hoping to be able to change it into something more glamorous with some tiles!

Tile me! When my grandfather built my house 65 years ago, he included an amazing little sunroom. They unfortunately decided to cover the floor with astro turf! We’ve since ripped it up, but we’d love to be able to put some lovely tile down!!

TILE MEEE the happiest girl around if I win this! We’ve been DYING to redo our kitchen and this would be the kick start we need! We’ve currently got an ugly tan backsplash with a picture of a breadbasket, blue formica counter tops and ooooooooold oak cabinets! Thanks to Pinterest, we’ve got lots of inspiration for our new kitchen!

TILE ME!! I have been procrastinating on our kitchen so badly! Every time we are in the kitchen we peel a bit more of the hideous wallpaper off the walls. I really need to get moving on it and my dream would be to place a penny tile back splash similar to yours but in a creamy almond color. We are also planning on re-grouting our tile in the bath but I would love to just replace the tiles while we are at it!

    TILE ME!

We’re in the midst of our master bathroom renovation, which is surprisingly large for our small house. As a result, we’re going to need quite a bit of stone tile for the floors, and ceramic subway for the walls. We’re planning on using the 10% YHL discount at the Tile Shop already, but it would be 1500% better if it were basically totally free! We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
