Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! My parent’s kitchen still has the original linoleum from the 1970s! It has become a patchwork of bright yellow linoleum though because my father has TONS of extra in the basement and he will patch every tear and hole that comes up. I know some new tile on that floor would make my Mom so happy!

    TILE ME
My basement laundry room and downstairs bathroom have a poorly installed, UGLY tile, crookedly installed by the former owners (white tile with mauve and baby blue roses. So twee! YECH!) I’d love to replace them with something more modern, or at least less gaggy! Thanks for the chance!

TILE ME!! Please!! My husband and I just bought a house and it is stuck in the 80’s. We need to re-tile three bathrooms and the kitchen. That is a lot of tile! That $1500 would be a major help. =)

Since we just ripped off all of the old (brown) tiling in our bathroom, we could use some pretty new tiling to redo our walls :)

Let’s not even talk about my pink/salmon tile bathrooms and kitchen! The bathrooms don’t look so bad because I painted the walls in a color that makes them look awesome. The green walls in the kitchen with the pine cabinets and the pink tiles…its a lot going on there let me tell you!!!!

    TILE ME!!!

We have a tile foyer, kitchen and bathroom, all attached that we’re planning on retiling this summer. It’s a crappy linoleum at the moment but we can’t retile til I have this baby (in May). We’ve been looking at tiles and pricing and hoping to settle things so we can get straight to work.

TILE ME, PLEASE!!!! My house was built in the 70’s and sadly it shows. In the middle a small-ish kitchen facelift, we discovered the fruit wallpaper “backsplash” (which we were removing) was covering LOUD orange subway tile! And we have a very large sunporch that presently has wall to wall carpet(???), that we are also planning to replace with tile. Thank you!

It’s a hard decision, because so many areas could use some major tile help, but I think the winner would be our sorry, sad, builder basic guest bath. It’s major blah.
