Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME :) The laundry/mudroom in our new house is currently a weird pinkish adobe color, and it needs serious makeover love. It would be awesome to put up some penny tile or hex tile (backsplash materials) along the lower half of the walls, then paint the upper half a light gray or bright teal. Love!

I’m dying to redo the tile floor and the shower in our master bathroom. The floor is stark white with dirty grout and lots o’ cracks and the shower is a beautiful avocado green.

TILE ME! OH…MM…GEE, you wouldn’t even believe how badly I want to put tile in my bathroom! Right now our walls are covered with milk house panel. Yes, you read that correctly. I feel like I am in a milking parlor every time I use the bathroom…and this is NOT a good feeling (in case you thought I might be into that sort of thing).

TILE ME!! We purchased a house that was marketed as turn-key but we later found out it was far from it. We have already spent nearly $20,000 to correct issues we didn’t know it had and still have several big ticket items to finish replacing/repairing. Our master bedroom suite had an on-going leak we found shortly after moving in and we had to rip the room apart and the bathroom which the previous owners cheaply threw together in an effort to make more money on the sale. They did not do it to code and so we have to redo it before we can even use the shower. We have been in the house over a year now without a wall or flooring in our master bedroom from the leak or the use of our master bathroom shower. This $1500 would help us correct the shower so that it is not going to leak so we can use it and get one step closer to making it our home rather than just a list of the previous owner’s leftover problems that they failed to disclose. Please help!

My husband, myself and our fourteen month-old munchkin are just a few short weeks away from moving into our first house! Yippee!! Our soon-to-be kitchen is in dire need of a backsplash and with another baby on the way, money is just a weeeee bit tight around these parts. So we could really use the $1,500. Like, really.
Thanks for the opportunity John, Sherry and The Tile Shop!
