Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

    TILE ME!

I am dying to redo the backsplash in my kitchen. It’s a brown, poopy colored tile with even dark, poopier colored inlays. Awful. And not very appetizing.

    “TILE ME”, Please!

I have 2 bathrooms, two with green board and tile board only, because tile is too expensive.

I NEED tile. It is a necessity right now- -the heavy duty plastic is just wrong and the thought of actually winning this makes me tear up.

    P.S. Love YHL.

    TILE ME!

We have a small area in front of our fireplace that is tiled, and it’s TERRIBLE! The tile is half red/half blackish brown. So, it doesn’t go well at all with our gorgeous marble fireplace and black trim. Plus, I would love to tile the backsplash in the kitchen!

I would love to tile the kitchen backsplash (it’s painted paneling now) … or tile the kitchen and bathroom floor to match … or tile the upstairs half bath … or add some tile in the laundry room in the basement. I’ll definitely put it to good use. :-)

    “Tile Me”!!!!!!!

LOL – We are midway through our install of laminate flooring in most of our house – very similar process to your cork. After we are done with that next weekend (hopefully) it is on to our bathrooms! One has 80’s almond tile with a lovely “accent” stripe of poo brown and peel and stick tiles on the floor. The master bath is similar… After than it is on to the kitchen for a backsplash. So, yeah – we could use some tile up in here!

TILE ME! I desperately want to tile the upstairs bathroom. We moved into our 100-year old house 2 years ago, and the bathroom walls are covered with big ugly white plastic sheets with little indentations made to look like tiles. They are sad and scratched and just so dreary. Our 100-year old bathroom needs some real tile love and a return to authenticity.
