Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME!!! I don’t know where to start…our home has been trapped in the 70’s and slooooooowly, we’re updating. But it’s so expensive, that it’s been slow going. I don’t know if we’d replace the white linoleum or the plain jane 4″ square white tiles on our existing backsplash. Or maybe the master bath,…the options are many at this point! Oh, and congrats on almost getting your kitchen done!!! So happy for you!

TILE ME! Our Master bath is in desperate need of a new tile floor and shower surround. The previous job before we purhased the home was done so poorly we had to take it out, since it was already cracking and we are currently living with the subfloor until we get some tile. I hope we win!!!

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

    TILE ME PLEASE!!!! :)

We just finished gutting our basement ourselves and are searching endlessly for the perfect flooring which would be durable in the case of a freak flood. Tile would be perfect. I’d even love to share the before and after photos once we’re done (hopefully soon as the dry wall was completed this past weekend).

Our kitchen backsplash is the most pressing tile project, but I just noticed that the “marble” tile in our bathrooms is actually fake… every tile has the exact same faux marbly pattern. Real classy… so the bathrooms are on the tile to do list, too!

    TILE ME!!!

I would adore being able to change out the flooring in our kitchen, family room, hallway, and dining room. We are stuck right now because even though our kitchen could easily be opened to our family room by removing a wall that ISN’T even load bearing (!!!), we can’t find the matching tile that we already have in the kitchen/family room/hallway. It would be amazing to tie it all together and be on our way to the “open” floor plan I’ve been dreaming of!

My “someday” project list includes a long list of tile projects that this could be a great starting point for – an architectural stone treatment for our fireplace, a stone backsplash in the kitchen, and a tile chair rail treatment in our powder room.

TILE ME, please! I live in a 90+ yr old home and I would LOVE to have our bathroom tiled. Plus we could use some new kitchen back splash. The 1980’s updated kitchen we moved into is less eye-candy than we’d prefer.
