Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! Where couldn’t I use new tile? My weird kitchen walls are apparently some sort of cardboard wall paneling – we could use a spiffy new backsplash and I would LOVE to replace the salmon/beige/pink tile in my bathroom it may not be original to the house – but it is OLD…

TILE ME!! Well, let;s see . . . I plan on gutting the kitchen so could really use some for the backsplash but the fireplace looks very dated & have been eyeing some glass tile for a new surround but then again a bathroom remodel is on the list & I am in love with some subway tile but I also need a new floor in the dining room & have been seen @ the local home improvement store going up & down the aisles in the tile section . . . Any of the aforementioned!!

My husband and I just bought our 2nd home in October, built in 1933. Everything is ivory wall-wise and we are ready for a change. We’d love to accent the nice granite countertops in our kitchen with some backsplash! If we win this we might tile the whole wall to the ceiling!

TILE ME! Oh my…this house we bought has *no* character. And the awful, Heaven-only-knows-how-it-was-conceived 4″ white ceramic and two burgundy tiles every 1.5′ backsplash in our kitchen MUST go. Indeed, we know exactly *what* we want from The Tile Shop (where we bought the fab Spring Mix backsplash for our last home’s kitchen). This would be *fabulous*!

Also, I’d like to tile our master bath 50s style—just white with a black pencil line going through it, then one more row of white, and black bullnose 2″ along the top. And yes, replace the BLAH! travertine/ceramic floor in said bathroom.

Or, better yet…Tile Shop has a fantastic narrow black slate. It’s gorgeous. And we’d like to use it to make an off-center surround for our fireplace.

Ohhhhh, I hope we win! Thanks for the opportunity!
