Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

Tile me!! Our tiny kitchen (we only have one drawer! ONE drawer, people!) is begging to be expanded and updated. A new subway tile backsplash would be the cherry on the cake! Thanks, YHL.

    TILE ME!

I so want a kitchen backsplash. Also one of the tiles in our master bathroom is cracked from when I was trying to listen to the ocean in a seashell and brush my teeth at the same time and dropped the seashell. So I suppose I could fix that.

TILE ME! We don’t actually have anything to tile here (we’re in a rental apartment)… but we did just put an offer in on a house where the flooring hasn’t been updated in decades – I can definitely see some tile going in to the carpeted bathrooms (yes, carpets!) and kitchen.

I am 1/2 done renovating my kitchen (cabinets painted, floors done, walls painted), but I ran out of money and haven’t been able to do the back splash or counter tops – this would help SO much!!

TILE ME! Our house could use new tile on the main floor – I’m so sick of the same dingy red tile all over the house, in all the bathrooms, on the kitchen counters, and the kitchen backsplash!

Tile ME! I am not sure I would actually tile myself, but perhaps our 2nd bathroom or kitchen downstairs (it’s not as glam as it sounds, it’s a 1959 ranch with a poorly done “in-law” quarters. Read: wood paneling, outdoor carpet, nasty, nasty kitchen and bath, but we’re grateful for the huge windows and that the plumbing is already in! :)

Our kitchen is currently looking empty without a backsplash and winning this would be the best boost to finally get on that project–and for the hubs to say YES :)

TILE ME! I would love to re-tile the bathroom. Our house is 62 yrs old with original subway tile. While I realize this is “in” right now, it’s old dingy looking tile and it’s just not my style.

Our one and only bathroom could use a major tile overhaul… hate to trash these sweet people but the previous owners installed it all on their own with about as much skill as a 5th grader. The grout is uneven, tiles are not level, spacing of all over the map and it’s just plain embarrassing. Beautiful new tube surround and floor tile would be a major upgrade! Thanks to the tile store for the awesome giveaway.

Our bathroom floor could absolutely use some tile. Right now, the dark brown simply doesn’t work with our preferred color scheme, and the seams between the tiles stain pretty easily.
