Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

The tile in my bathroom needs to be replaced – there’s no space between the tiles, and then the grout is applied on top of the tiles! So of course it’s come off in chunks. Thanks, whoever tiled our bathroom.

I’m a college student living in a rental apartment, so I wouldn’t get a chance to use this prize, but I know my parents would LOVE this as an anniversary gift! Our kitchen at home has the lovely yellow-tile-with-brownish-black-grout-from-the-70s look going on and my mom has been dying to change it.

Tile me!! I would like to re-tile our bathroom. We bought a fixer-upper and some of the towel racks were broken so we have spots on the wall where I chipped the old broken racks out and left huge spots with no tile at all. The house is almost 100 years old and it is a black and white all over tile situation!

Our poor bathroom suffered horribly from a DIY hack job thanks to the previous owners. There is NO GROUT in the shower!! It’s all CAULK! (Grosssssss) we’ve been saving our pennies to DIY a new surround, but we’re just not there yet :-/
