Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    My favourite purchase so far is a skeleton nutcracker I got on sale for $10 during this Halloween. He’s so awesome that he has a permanent place on my mantle year round.

    There are so many favorites at target, but one of the many is the cute selection of doggie clothes and treats in the dollar bins at the front of the store! They always have chihuahua sized clothes at a great price!

    I don’t think I can choose a favorite target item! I did recently purchased a set of hooks meant to hang keys, but I put it in my bathroom and all my everyday necklaces are hanging!

    This is such a great giveaway!!! I mean really, who doesn’t love Target? I’ve gotten a lot of great deals there, but the best by far is a $3 skirt I bought 3 years ago that I STILL get compliments on. PRICELESS!

    My favorite recent purchase is a white porcelain $20 lamp base I had my eyes on for a while… scored it on clearance for $5!!! Needless to say I brought two of those babies home :)

    I’m a TARGET lady! Favorite scores include silver chargers that look great under our dinner plates (clearance priced at $4 for 8) & most recently, the white drapes for our master bedroom. Easy & breezy!

    I love love love Target…I went there today on my lunch break to pick up a prescription & just browse (a favorite lunchtime activity)…

    My favorite Target steals would have to be 2 super-cheap, modern lamps we scored that have moved with us from our first apartment, to our current townhouse, and hopefully one day will sit in a house we own.

    We got our stainless steel silverware from Target when we got married almost 8 years ago. We still get compliments on it!

    My favorite Target purchase was a rounded-square recycled glass bowl. I saw it one day at Target, but I didn’t buy it right then. That night, and subsequent nights, I dreamed about it. Luckily, when I went back to Target, it was on sale! I use it for everything from produce to Halloween candy to holiday ornaments.

    My husband and I found a fabulous spring green and white striped rug…5’x7′ for 79.99. We’ve had it for 2 years in our baby’s room and it still looks fantastic.

    I’m a Target lady!

    My best buy from Target has been the folding Dolce bookcase – I have 3 now and am eying a fourth. I have moved 8 times in the last 8 years and these babies fold up and move easily and they still look as good as new. I also have the Dolce console table, desk, filing cabinet, and coffee table. All were good buys.
