How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

I use the radio to sing every last grunge era related song on the radio to my husband in my deep faux-man voice. He knows any time Pearl Jam comes on the radio he’s in for simulated Eddie Vedder — which ain’t pretty!

Radio Me! Colorado Public Radio just started up this AMAZING new AM radio station with the best music I’ve ever heard on the radio. That is what I listen to now and would definitely keep on listening to if I had a fabulous new tabletop radio.

My daughter and I(she’s 5.5) like to rock out to things like “The Dog Days are Over” and “Forget You”, but she’s particularly fond of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”. Gotta love kiddos that have great taste in music!

Radio Me…My fiance and i listen to an 80’s station while doing all of our DIY projects. Our current radio doesn’t tune it in well and depending on where we are standing or what tool we are using sometimes it tunes in the Mexican station instead.
