How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

I’m a work at home mom so this would get a lot of use! I listen to music in the morning to clean, cook and get the kiddos out the door. I listen to talk/news radio while I work and do more cleaning (does laundry ever end?). Love this mod looking radio! Happy Monday!

I alternate between Top 40 tunes (kitchen dance party anyone?) and NPR. “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me” has become a new Saturday morning tradition. The only problem is my current radio has way too much static, but since it was a Christmas gift 10+ years ago, I can’t complain too much.

I love my talk radio on the morning drive, and top 40 on the way home! Right now at home, I have directv music stations to clean to, but would love to have a little radio, so the TV can get a break!! LOL!

Radio me! The radio is always on at our house, tuned to the best public radio news station in the country, (maybe the world) — Minnesota Public Radio. Great news, witty programming on the weekend, and clever stories most evenings, I am always entertained and informed!
