How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

I like to listen to news radio, and after 22 minutes (when they’ve given me the world), I listen to top 40 to see what new fangled music is out there. Sometimes, when it seems that commercials are on every channel, I tune into country music and try to guess the next words. So predictable!! haha

My family and I love to listen to music and we would love to have one for our kitchen to listen to during dinner time. I also, would like to have one in order to listen to the radio when we have bad storms and the satellite goes out. Which just happened recently and was very scary.

RADIO ME! I loooove WFAE – CHarlotte’s public radio station – and so many of their programs the list would go on and on. I listen to NPR news on the way to work (an hour drive) and back home, enjoy Car Talk and Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me on Saturdays. When I work from home I dig Diane Rehm (what an incredible interviewer!). I download podcasts ’cause I can’t be glued to the radio.
