How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

RADIO ME!!! Alternative Rock, Dance Music and the occasional Disney “kids” song to keep the kiddos dancing along with me. Kitchen dancing is the best! : )

RADIO ME I would use my radio to listen to my favorite alternative rock radio show the timewarp on Sunday mornings to motivate me while doing housework and prepping meals for the week. Nothing gets me energized more than old songs!

While my Husband watches sports as I’m cooking dinner, I use my “radio” (the West Elm pig speaker, so not necessarily a radio) to “jam out with my clam out” (name that show!) while I cook dinner. It’s a great time when I can get home, decompress, listen to some tunes and block every other sound out for a few handfuls of minutes. I love it.
