***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the one lucky winner (as selected by random.org) is… Laura (who says “Me likey fall. The air smells so fresh and clean!”) Congrats!

Everyone’s favorite modular carpet square maker is back for another giveaway, and this time it’s bigger and better than their awesome 2009 prize. This time FLOR is gonna hook our winner up with enough tiles to build a custom 8 x 10′ rug – which also breaks down to be enough tiles to create a runner and a smaller area rug if that’s more your style. Oh, you’ll be able to pick from ANY of their 100+ colors and styles too. Here are some of our favorites below:

FLOR Giveaway March

  • PRIZE: An 8×10′ area rug in any style from FLOR (roughly 35 tiles of any design)
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “FLOR ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us which of the four seasons is your favorite and why. Are you into hot summer days at the beach? Bundling up on a cool winter night? Or is the arrival of spring the best thing ever in your book?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 23rd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

FLOR ME! And I love the first few weeks of every season, with spring being my favorite since moving to Washington, DC almost a decade ago. It’s the perfect temperature here.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE spring in Texas. Unfortunately, it is far too short a season before 100+ degree weather rears its ugly wilting head. But for now… I’m in heaven!

It’s definitely summer for this southern girl. When the buds burst in NoVa in late March I say they’re 2 months late to the springtime party. Give me sweltering summer evenings with a breeze blowing through my bike helmet and spitting out the sand gnats along the way :)

FLOR me! I mostly love the transition times, the anticipation of each new season’s arrival. However, living in the northwest makes Spring the ultimate in renewal (sunshine after a long gray winter feels like coming into a million bucks).

Favorite season is really a shoulder, in between Summer & Fall. It’s still so warm in August and September, mentally it seems not quite summer but not fall either. Just a golden, warm, smilely transition time. With lots of changes on the pink horizon.

    FLOR ME!

After growing up in Florida, I never realized how much I loved spring until I moved to North Carolina for college. Once I see the first flower blooming, I know this is a sign that the leaf-less, dead winter is over!! I love the fresh, crips green grass, the flower covered tree tops, huge ferns hanging from the porch, and big flowers around the house. Ahh, I just can’t get enough!

    FLOR ME :)

Living in Texas makes spring time my favorite time of year…Summer months here are scorcing and being a native Texan makes 65 degrees cold for me. Spring is the perfect balance in temperature for Sunday patio drinks with girlfriends or walks in the city parks with my dogs! I absolutely LOVE spring time and all the colors it brings.

    FLOR ME!!!

For me it’s a toss up between Spring and Fall. Here in Lexington, KY we have the lovely Keeneland racetrack that can totally make both April (the spring meet) and October (the fall meet)! If I’m honest though I ;ean a bit more towards fall…there’s football in the fall – and what better way to spend a Saturday in October than the morning taligating at Keeneland, going in for the races that day and then hitting up Commonweatlh Staduim for an evening fcollege football game! It’s sublime…

It is definitely a toss up b/w Spring and Fall. Right now the smell of fresh cut grass and the flowers in bloom (yes, in bloom – I live in the South) puts a smile on my face but come Fall with the crunchy leaves and smell of fire pits I’ll be in a tailgating kind of mood, game day or not.

FLOR ME! I need a rug for the nursery! I love spring — but spring in the South, where I currently live, never feels quite right. We don’t have to work hard enough for it! More precisely: I love late May in New England. Green leaves on the trees, “peepers” chirping in the woods by my parents’ at night, peonies about to bloom! And it’s all so exciting and fresh after waiting for it through the long winter.
