***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to the bottom to see who won!***

We’re always on the lookout for new art these days (lots of empty walls!) so we’re excited to bring you this giveaway from Barcelona-based illustrator Judy Kaufmann. Her bold prints – sometimes colorful, sometimes stark – have a charming combo of simplicity and intricacy. Here are a few of our favs below, but you can of course browse more in her Etsy shop.

  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two

I’m bold…I pulled my 4 & 6 year old kids in their hand me down Radio Flyer Red Wagon all around the neighborhood last summer (they got to have popsickles!): we knocked on every door for blocks to invite kids to our first ever “backyard bible club”, a week of crafts, singing and stories about a missionary in India & the dark & the good characters in a few choice bible stories that read as exciting as any mystery or who dunnit book!!…the goal: for the kids to know that there is a God out there who loves them! We could be marked now as “wierdos” by our neighbors! (we’re pretty normal!)…exactly why we were scared to invite;but I followed my heart and taught my kids about courage, openess, sharing something important & important to us with others regardless of what could turn out, and respect for others’ points of view. Friends we already knew ended up coming, but no one else did (most folks we invited, we had not met before) – and it was lots of fun & meaningful with ten kids who came all week – yummy snack, prizes and games! We’ll see about whether to try this again or not this summer!

Having kids makes one think of what’s most important, and doing this last summer was an act of love for sharing my faith from me to the neighborhood – and showing my kids this was worth the butterflies that certainly flew in my tummy at the time!!

I moved from Wisconsin to Oregon by myself, knowing just one family in the area of Oregon where I ended up. I went out there for 1 week, interviewed for and accepted a job, searched for and found housing on craigslist, and had a lot of fun.
