Fab Freebie: The Bold & The Beautiful

We’re always on the lookout for new art these days (lots of empty walls!) so we’re excited to bring you this giveaway from Barcelona-based illustrator Judy Kaufmann. Her bold prints – sometimes colorful, sometimes stark – have a charming combo of simplicity and intricacy. Here are a few of our favs below, but you can of course browse more in her Etsy shop.

    I AM BOLD… and if I’m being totally honest, a little stinky. It’s day #2 without a shower. What can I say… I have two small kids and a hubby who works a lot! Thankfully, he’ll be home shortly and then I will lock myself in the bathroom for a delightful 30 minute shower. Ahhhhh.

    I’M BOLD. I decided to move 1,000 miles away for college, and haven’t left the windy city yet. Found my awesome non-profit I work for, met my husband, and have a baby girl who’s turning 1 next week.

    I’M BOLD-I did go skydiving but I think the boldest thing I ever did was moving with my family across the country for my husbands job.

    I’m bold – started giving blood as a teen partly because I was afraid of needles – moved to Canada from Germany by myself at age 19 (and still here 20 years later) – got married and had 4 kids, so even though I’m feeling kind of ‘settled’ and all i guess i’ve got some boldness in me…

    boldest thing I did was going to poland for 4 months, all alone, knowing no one, not really sure where I was living when I got there or knowing much of anything about polish culture, history, or tradition. and not speaking polish.

    luckily i made it through alive and it was absolutely the best experience of my life!

    I’m BOLD

    Growing up I had a “swiss family robinson” style tree house in my backyard (still do!) with a suspension bridge. So when I moved home after college…guess where my parents put me? In the tree! it was awesome! I even had a suspension bridge to another tree house that went to a deck with an ocean view!

    I’m bold! I went to a summer camp one time and had to dress up in the craziest clothes anyone had, all day, kinda crazy!

    I’m bold! I went skydiving once. Won’t ever do it again, but I”m glad I did it.

    Oh, and I quit my job last year to be a SAHM. Not sure if that’s bold or just crazy!

    But maybe not really-I mean, I fell off of a see-saw once. And I’ve rode in an airplane across the ocean. That’s about as bold as I get.

    I’M BOLD! I’ve never gone skydiving but I HAVE paraglided the Andes AND chopped off most of my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths wig program! :)
