This week’s giveaway comes from a site that so chock full o’ good stuff that it was a challenge to hone in on the perfect freebie items for this week. We’re talking about Artful Home, a virtual window into over a thousand artists’ studios that gives you access to 12,000+ original art pieces – from wall art and sculpture to furniture and accessories. It’s kinda like Etsy, but contributing artists are all professionals who are selected by a panel of art adjudicators.
So we sifted through the site and fell in love with several pillows and, since we couldn’t settle on just one, we’re letting this week’s lucky winner choose from the four pillows shown below: the nature-inspired linen pillows by Mariah Wren or the graphic, eye-chart pillow by Heather Lins. I know, tough decision, eh?

I Heart Art! My favorite art is actually not adorning any of the walls in my home right now, as I am in the middle of changing things up. However, I did hang them in my office at work, so that I wouldn’t have to get rid of them. They are all Warren Kimble prints of folkart houses and schools.

I heart art! My fav piece in our house is my dancing teapot set. It’s a three piece set (teapot, sugar, creamer) in a green glaze, where each piece is shaped to look like it’s frozen mid-dance move. I know, it sounds weird, but I smile everytime I look at it.

My favorite piece in our house is my very first black and white print that I made myself in the darkroom. I shot the film, developed it and printed it… I did this for years even though I reeked like developing chemicals. I loved it… it made me happy, being alone in the dark with the music cranked, watching my art come to life literally before my eyes. In fact, most of the artwork in our house is my very own and I’m proud of it.
I just stumbled on your site not long ago and was an instant fan, very inspiring. I would love a pillow!

My favorite piece of art in our house is a piece by Shin’iki Suzuki, the creator of the Suzuki method. My husband shares a birthday with him and when Mr. Suzuki sent his piano teacher the painting, she gave it to him (back in high school). It’s a one of a kind very special piece. :)

My favorite piece of art is an original painting I purchased from an artist on etsy earlier this year. It’s a simple painting of three brown birds on a wire, against a beautiful blue sky. I love it because it has a touch of whimsy but it’s not too whimsical or cartoonish. The colors are gorgeous and really complement my decor scheme. It makes me happy to see it on my wall every day.
