This week’s giveaway comes from a site that so chock full o’ good stuff that it was a challenge to hone in on the perfect freebie items for this week. We’re talking about Artful Home, a virtual window into over a thousand artists’ studios that gives you access to 12,000+ original art pieces – from wall art and sculpture to furniture and accessories. It’s kinda like Etsy, but contributing artists are all professionals who are selected by a panel of art adjudicators.
So we sifted through the site and fell in love with several pillows and, since we couldn’t settle on just one, we’re letting this week’s lucky winner choose from the four pillows shown below: the nature-inspired linen pillows by Mariah Wren or the graphic, eye-chart pillow by Heather Lins. I know, tough decision, eh?

My favorite piece of art in my home is a floral oil painting found at a salvage store. I have no idea who it is by, but it is beautiful and fits my home just perfectly.

My favorite piece of art is a watercolor print by artist Geninne (she’s on etsy!) of a small, quirky bird family in a tree. To me it represents my fiance and I with our future family – it’s gorgeous!

My favorite piece of art is an engagement photo taken of me and my (now) husband that our photographer printed onto a canvas and stretched across a wood frame. It’s not a close up smiley picture. It’s of the two of us walking hand-in-hand and it’s just wonderful :)

I HEART ART! Currently, my favorites are some ads I took from an old magazine (1918), framed in simple black frames and placed in my laundry room. They are all soap ads. Totally cute! I also have one from the same magazine in my kitchen. It’s a cute curly-headed baby in a high chair eating bread. Says “Feed him plenty of bread!” It’s an ad for Fleischmann’s yeast. :) ~~Rhonda

I think my favorite piece of art is one of the first I acquired when I got my own apartment. It is a print called “Jerusalem Gate” that I purchased at a charity art auction for around $80. It has hung in my dining room over several moves, and it always gets compliments.

I HEART ART! My favorite piece of art in my house is a poster print of of a cowgirl that repeats itself on a blue background. It’s an odd size and for a long time I couldn’t figure out where to put it. I got it framed last year and it now hangs in my repainted bathroom. I love it. It makes me happy when I see it. Also, sad that I didn’t buy 2 to hang next to each other (the person who made them is no longer in business).
