I’m Haute! And I can’t even begin to decide what my best deal was, considering I never ever purchase anything for full price. I’ve gotten tons of amazing free stuff from acquaintances, strangers on Craigslist and Freecycle, and even at the end of peoples’ driveways. My favorite recent freebie is a sweet antique steamer trunk that I scored for free that not only serves as a great option for extra seating or tabletop space, but has some incredible storage capabilities! It would be awesome to win this giveaway!

A couple of coats of paint and some cute polka dot fabric to upholster the back and voila…a brand new bookcase for the cost of fabric! ($25) I LOVE it!! :) Love the blog!

right now the best deal i can think of is the shocks and springs for my car. the hubs found them at the junkyard and they were brand new, he paid $80 for them and when we looked them up they were about $900 brand new!!! Oh, and also our living room furniture. Chocolate suede couch, chair, love seat and ottoman for $370 only slightly used at a consignment shop. All that would have been at least $1500 brand new

I was able to get placemats, cloth napkins, and napkin rings for 8 table seatings for less than $10 at Kohls by using free $10 coupons that I received in the mail and asked my neighbor for if they weren’t planning to use. The items were all on sale (50% off)…and the coupons covered the rest, awesome!

The best deal I ever got was on a picture frame room divider. A friend and I were at a garage sale and when I expressed how I thought it would go perfectly in my room, the couple hosting the sale GAVE it to me, completely free! You cannot beat free :-)
