I recently agreed to be one of the two coordinators for my church for a multi-church homeless ministry. We provide housing year round for temporarily homeless families and help them get back on their feet. The churches share the hospitality – every couple weeks the families move to a new church. Every night someone cooks dinner for them and spends time with them. There are overnight hosts each night to make sure everything goes okay. I’m excited to be part of this!

My sister & I recently signed up for a sewing class. It is one of those things I want to know how to do well…not necessarily for making my own clothes or anything, but more for hemming and making simpler things like pillow covers (pillows are expensive!) and table runners.
