STENCIL ME! I’d like to re-tackle a buffet I have in my entry. A couple years ago it was one of my first DIYs & I spray painted it black. Now that I’m more experienced, I’d like to repaint it with a brush for a better finish, and I’m thinking it should be navy, rather than black. Although winning a stencil would complete this project, because I’m dying to stencil my foyer for a “wallpaper-ish” look!

I would love to try a sewing project that I tackled in March for my daughter’s birthday again and write a true tutorial for it this time around. STENCIL ME! My husband and I refinished a chest for our living room- black exterior with sky blue interior. I would love to try it again though. When I was in grade school, my mother decided to stamp her own wrapping paper for the holidays (roll of kraft paper + stamps & paint). My sister and I “assisted” in whatever way we could. Maybe it was her perfectionism or just the illusion of complication in my prepubescent mind…but for some reason I shy away from doing it year after year even though I have a deep desire to do it SOMEDAY.
