If you guys haven’t heard of papernstitch before, you’ve gotta check it out. It’s another great online source for handmade art (prints, photos, knits, etc) that’s curated monthly to exhibit a fresh crop of handpicked artists for you to shop and draw inspiration from. This week, papernstitch is giving away a set of four photographic prints from one of their favorite photographers: Allison Trentelman of Rocky Top Studio. Allison is a nature photographer whose snowy birds and forest floor photo collections almost feel like they were shot in some fairy tale world (actually the Maine coast – but we still wouldn’t be surprised to spot a nymph or two in the background). We love that they let you bring both a bit of nature and lighthearted whimsy to your walls.
So here’s how you can score a dose of outdoors for your indoors this week:

My hubby and I are TOTALLY outdoorsy people. When we aren’t working on our new (new to us, built in 1850) home we’re outside taking our dogs on hikes, we love road biking, mountain biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding or just hanging out at our garden or with our goats and chickens. Vermont rocks and we love spending as much time outside as possible!!

As much as I absolutely NEED my doses of sunshine, I am very much an inside person. I love to shop, read, shop, play on the computer, shop, watch movies, shop, have game nights, shop, be the hostess with little get-to-gethers, shop, do my little crafting projects, shop, and listen to music (did I mention shop?). I love being inside and looking outside, especially in the winter, but I would much rather look through my window while in front of the fireplace reading. :)

I love being indoors and outdoors for so many different reasons. I love shopping, sitting by a hot fire and sipping tea or watching movies with my girlfriends. I also love snowboarding with my hubby and snowball fights too. And nothing beats a winter skate outdoors followed by some warm cocoa!

I love being outside, espeically on warm spring or fall day. Horseback riding, dog walking, bike riding, walking, whatever! That’s not to say I don’t enjoy just hanging out at home too though. I can often be found snuggled in bed watching DVD’s or reading! :)

Actually, I am a mix. But, I won’t be outside if I’m uncomfortable. What I mean is that I like to be outdoors, but I won’t sacrifice my comfort to do it. For example, I’ll camp and enjoy it. But, two nights max at a campground with a shower.
