Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. We don’t celebrate valentine’s day. (we don’t buy each other anniversary, birthday or christmas gifts either!!)
We show each other our love all year round and both have been known to show up at home with random gifts that we know the other would enjoy. We are also known for going on spontanious romantic dates: me: “I don’t feel like cooking dinner tonight. Let’s order pizza.” him: “how about we dress up, go out for sushi and then go dancing?” me: already gone to get dressed up!! lol!

My husband who never travels had to go out of town, so I spent my holiday with an almost 3 year old and his almost 5 month old sister. We tried to do “face time” on the iPod but his hotel didn’t have reliable wifi. So, he sent a photo of himself, we put the speaker phone on, and our son didn’t seem to know the difference!
