Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. A year ago today my husband deployed to Iraq. We are thankful that he was home yesterday to celebrate with us, he even had the day off work.
I took our three sons to a v-day party for a couple hours in the morning. When I got home there was GORGEOUS flowers waiting for me. “Do you know how hard it is to get a bouquet of flowers home while riding a motorcycle?”
We spent the rest of the day just relaxing together, because that is what we missed the most during his time overseas.
