Lisa brings a certain DIY spirit to her necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other body bling – hand cutting, polishing, and assembling each piece carefully for that “made with love” feeling. She actually helped us celebrate V-day last year by giving away $100 gift cards to two winners – and this year she’s raising the stakes and giving away THREE benjamins worth of her meaningful designs to three random lucky winners. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!
I actually have a meeting tonight, so the hubs and I celebrated on Friday night by going out to sushi with my parents – yum! Then we had hot cocoa and browsed books at B&N. Our son’s preschool program hosted a Valentine parent’s night out for a steal, so we just had to take advantage.
This morning I gave my hubs my DIY Valentine’s Day card. He loved it, of course :)

This year my family and I celebrated V-day with a feast! We started with an appetizer of king crab legs! They were huge and delicious. For the main course my husband grilled up some amazing lamb chops, with a side of mashed potatoes and a green salad with dried cranberries and honey goat cheese. It was a wonderful meal and great conversation with those I love most!
