Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

OFFICE ME! I’m totally enamored with the 60’s revival, so my office needs to look like one in Mad Men. A corner space with lots of windows for skyline views. And natural light to cast just the right glow on my newest project! Which is anything that involves fabric! Come visit me and I’ll take you to lunch!

Office me!! I own my own wedding planning business, and I work from home right now. I’d love to have our own gorgeous office, in a house I think. It would be all crisp and white with lots of luxury and sparkle. :) We’d have a pretty little showroom with wedding things everywhere, and we’d play wedding movies for brides while they’re waiting. Maybe we could even have a dress shop too! Wow, the house just got REALLY big didn’t it. ;)

    OFFICE ME!

Well, I have a recently updated home office that I hardly ever use because of all the typical “home distractions”… and a beautiful office at my work that I can’t stand spending more then 40 hours a week in…

I’ve been wanting to try out this new “co-working” space that is downtown Grand Rapids, MI called “The Factory”. It would be great to get away from home and my office, but still be in an “office-like” setting! Here’s their website: http://workthefactory.com/.

    Office Me!

I’ve worked in two totally different work settings. The first is your typical office setting with cubicals where everyone has to work together to get things done. I’ve also worked alone in a private office/room. I think both have pros and cons. I like having the privacy of the private office/room and also love the uninterrupted time to get things done. But, I’m also fairly new at my job & would love to have my co-workers a little closer to me so I can bounce ideas off of them & ask them questions. But, either way, I need to have some sort of window/natural light source flowing into the room! :)
