Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

I would love to create a clean, simple office area out of a section of my tiny Atlanta apartment. I have been wanting to for a while and this would be perfect incentive to go ahead and carve out a space!

I have worked in dingy offices for most of my career, so I’d love to work in a modern building with a wall of windows to admire the view while I work.

OFFICE ME!! I cannot wait to move to a larger place so that I can put together a home office (right now it’s also the guest room). I already have a plan in my head for two west elm parsons desks with a printer cart and storage area in between (considering we have 1 desktop and 3 laptops at the moment!)

During a renovation I once worked around a huge conference table with my department for several months. Everyone complained about the set up but it was really great in terms of collaborating and conversation in general. I’d love to go back to that.

    OFFICE ME

My ideal office would be comfy and airy with tons of natural light, HUGE amounts of desk space to spread out, and a place for everything. The desk would be white with brightly colored supplies in clear containers for pops of color and tons of organizing features. I would have to have a coffee maker and a few indoor plants as well, and a stash of power snacks to keep me going :)

OFFICE ME! I love my office at work – there’s practically nothing in it except the desk space and computer (2 monitors) that I use, with a single writing utensil, pad of paper, and pad of sticky notes. At home, it’s pretty much the same (but a little messier).

I don’t care where my office is… as long as it’s with people I enjoy spending the majority of my day with. Currently, my office is at home, in a corner of the living room. When I worked out of the home, I worked in a fairly open environment, but it’s the people that made it awesome! :)

Frankly, my office could be smaller than a cupboard and I wouldn’t care, as long as I had one of my many dream jobs (interior decorator, actress, photographer, editor– the typical ones).
Ok, maybe that’s not true, maybe I want tons of natural light, a great view, and a perfectly designed/organizes space. But I could settle!

Ideally, I’d rather not have an office! I love jobs that get me out moving and interacting with people. Obviously though, many of those jobs still require you to sit down and do the occasional bit of office work. Taking that into consideration, I’d love a smaller, cozy office that has a great view and brings nature in. Something soothing and comfortable.

My ideal office would be almost as it is now: by a window, with lots of interesting art (from taken-apart calendars of years passed), plants, pictures, and storage. One definite change would be that it would be enclosed completely from my “neighbors” at work so I could listen to music and cut down on office noise pollution.
