Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

    OFFICE ME!
I’d pick a nice, airy, HOME office with lots of light and windows! Mainly so I could work from home and catch some sunshine sans flourescent lighting :)

    OFFICE ME!

I don’t mind coming into the office as long as there’s some source of natural light in sight. I would LOVE to have one where I could bring my dogs to work though!

    OFFICE ME!!!! (pretty please!)

And right now I would love to work in a chic, stylish home office. The office I work in is gray and dull, and the people are moody & tense. I’d love to work from home. Just me, my brightly colored walls, laptop & adorable kitten. And getting to spend the day in yoga pants and a tank top wouldn’t be too bad either… =)

    OFFICE ME!

I would love to be in an office with windows!! and lots of concealed storage. A view of the water would be icing on the cake. Instead, I am jammed in the corner of a basement under the garbage room of a hospital, in a broken cubicle with no doors/drawers to hide my junk, in a crowded and noisy room full of interns. Another day, another reason to be glad I got that PhD!

As I type this with our 12 week old in the baby bjorn, as my wife just finished maternity leave (her first day back is today – a week with daddy, yeah), my idea of the perfect office is one just for show – one neither of has to use, it is just there…

I just got a new cube at work, so I am dying to get some cute decor- this will surely help make my space feel like home!

My old office had a window, that opened. Fresh air sure is a luxury, and I would die to have that again!

OFFICE ME! My ideal office is one with windows. Currently, I have an AMAZING, HUGE office but I’m 25 feet underground so I work with the hum of flourscent bulbs in the background. I never know if it’s raining or shining outside until I leave for the day.

OFFICE ME! I’d love to work in a sun-filled conservatory off the back of the house built with salvaged windows. The space doesn’t exist, yet, but as soon as hubby recovers from the 1001 open projects we’re currently working on, I’ll put the conservatory on the table. We actually built a large message center with dry erase board and magnet area for our kitchen seen here, but would love the bamboo one for our current cramped office space.

Hmmm . . . I like working with people too much to want to work at home on a regular basis, but when I do work at home, you’ll find me fully ensconced on the couch. At work, I’m happy in cubeland, but wish mine were big enough for a big comfy chair.
