Fab Freebie: Office Party

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

We’ve got two prizes coming from two office-tastic sources, so your dreams of a new and improved home office might just come true (even if by home office you mean a laptop on your kitchen counter).

Let’s start with Three by Three Seattle who designs and manufactures home, kitchen, and office accessories with an emphasis on both form and function. And that’s exactly what you’ll get if you’re the winner of this bamboo dry erase board called the Channel Panel. Not only does it cleverly disguise its dry erase capabilities with the modern wood finish, but the channel slices hold stainless steel accessories for bonus function. Almost makes you want to be productive, eh?

Office Supplies Three By Th

The next prize also lets you be the most stylish passenger on the productivity train: it’s a $100 gift card to anything from Cute As Pie Office Supplies. They’re a great online source for colorful, cheeky and (yes) cute supplies like file folders, notepads and pencil holders that sure beat whatever you can steal (er, borrow) from your company’s supply closet.

Office Supplies Cute As Pie

Now here’s the official info for this week – but read carefully, because some of the “usual stuff” ain’t so usual anymore.

  • PRIZE: A Large Channel Panel bamboo dry erase board from Three by Three Seattle and a $100 gift card to Cute As Pie Office Supplies
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “OFFICE ME” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could work in any type of office, what would it be? Would you love an open light-filled space where the creativity can fly? Something in the corner with a grand view? Or maybe you’d prefer to work from home or… better yet… the beach!
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, October 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday AS AN UPDATE TO THIS POST. That’s right, come right here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner and a special discount for everyone else. Good luck…

******************************

This giveaway’s random winner is… Megan (who wants an open office with lots of windows). Congrats!

For everyone else, don’t miss out on these great discounts:

  • Take 25% off all orders from Three by Three Seattle with code YOUNGHOUSE through Oct 15th.
  • Take 10% off all orders from Cute As Pie Office Supplies with code YHL through Oct 21st. Plus, all orders over $100 will get free shipping!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Three by Three Seattle and Cute As Pie Office Supplies.

My ideal office would be at home with the views looking out over the vast fields =) But the beach would work just as well!

Working from the beach every day would be AWESOME, but I’d also settle for my current office — laid-back, open, colorful, and free lunch every day, yum!

    OFFICE ME!

All I can hope for is an office that isn’t a part of our bedroom. Hopefully sometime we will have an extra bedroom…a two bedroom house with four people living in it and no real office is tough. Our office has become a part of the bedroom and we sadly haven’t put a lot into organization. It has to happen soon though, because it’s about to drive me crazy!

I’m indoors all the time (although, I guess I really don’t have to be…), but once I was an archaeologist. My office those summers was an upturned bucket next to a pile of dirt. I wish it still were.

    OFFICE ME!

My dream office would be a home office. That is, if I had an office in my home. Currently the closest I come is a cheap desk with my laptop, a lamp, and a file crate. It’s sad, really.

OFFICE ME! I actually like coming to an office (maybe cause I have a 2 and 4 yr olds and any “home office” I would have would be somewhat chaotic. Sign me up for a corner office with a view.

By the way, if winners will now be announced as a post update, I wonder if that means those of us who mostly come to your site via RSS blog readers will therefore not get a notification and link about the winner being announced since there’s no new blog post. Do i really have to remember in my overstuffed little head to scroll back to this post in 4 days? And more importantly, if i ever did win something, would I get an email telling me or would I never know if i forgot to check back?

OFFICE ME! I would prefer a second-floor office looking over my one-acre backyard that’s always full of wildlife. I’d need to be on the second floor to resist the urge to GO out there. :) Instead, I work at a University in a basement office with no natural light and drab white walls. These supplies could do wonders for the space that I’m “stuck with.”

My husband and I always work side-by-side at a simple desk at home. My dream would be to have a much larger desk with drawers that we can organize stuff in and a great big hutch or some shelves for further organization.

    Office Me Please!

I’ve had some crazy offices in the past, mostly my criteria for a great office is a space that is EMPTY when it becomes mine, so that I can fill it and organize it the way I see fit. I’ve had some offices that have come with YEARS of other people’s stuff. I just can’t be productive in that environment!

Anything with a wood grain grabs me! I love the dry erase board.
My office is a classroom and I try to make it as personal, bright, and cozy as possible. In an 85 year old school that’s one big task. If I had an ideal office, it would be a loft with high ceilings and bright light that I can diffuse with great sheer fabrics. Thanks for the giveaway.

And I think I have my ideal office. I just finished transforming my office space and it’s pretty close to perfect. Working from home is awesome, even though it carries it’s own challenges. The beach sounds pretty great too, but I wouldn’t get much done and I fear the sand would get into all my gadgets while I’m not looking lol
