We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

I don’t have any particular wish for this Christmas, I am just excited to be getting a few little things from the hubby. For the past few years we opted to forego presents to each other, since I didn’t have a job. Now we’re back to dual income, so we set a price limit for each other for smaller things. I always love seeing what he comes up with!
As far as excited for giving, my boisterous little 18 month old son loves making noise and finding the beat, so I found him a junior sized drum set… he’s going to love it! I can’t wait to see him play!

MAXX ME! I know it probably sounds lame, but I never request anything for myself on Christmas because my kids always come first. I guess if I had to I would say clothes because I desperately need some. My 5 year old boy has played drums since he was 2 and this year Santa has bought him a new drum set (this is his third set) so we are pretty excited about that. Thank God for craigslist. We would have never been able to afford a new one. Haven’t figured out what to get the older boy yet.
