We’ve always loved snagging cheap finds for our house at both stores – like the nailhead trimmed ottoman in our bedroom (from T.J. Maxx) and just about every pillow in our den (from Marshalls).

Very low-key Christmas in store this year. We’re way over budget in our house renovation so a (hopefully) finished house will be our main gift to each other. We’ll each pick up a little something for each other, but nothing like in the past.

I really don’t have much of a list for myself, to be perfectly honest. I’ve found that since I moved out of my parents’ house most of the stuff I wanted became home-oriented. It’s a strange day when the top of your list is something like a side table for your living room or a new bed. But hey–I’m having fun with it, nevertheless. :)
But I’m pretty excited.. I make homemade cards for the people I’m closest to each year, and I totally just raided the local Michael’s and found out that apparently while I was sleeping the rest of the world decided they wanted to start making cards so I found a lot of nifty stock to make this year’s cards with! Hopefully I can get my butt moving soon so that I’ll have them finished before Christmas!
