I would put some new blinds on our dining room windows. We have three huge, lovely windows with old, ratty, torn-up blinds. The windows face east, and during the summer here in the south that makes our dining room nearly unbearable. Plus, the windows face the street, which means everyone can see us!

We had to tape newspaper over our bathroom window when we first moved into our apt. We got blinds within a couple days since the moisture from the shower didn’t work too well with the tape. :)

We just moved into a house bigger than our starter home (and less one income). we don’t have enough window coverings yet to sheild us from the lovely but snoopy 7 kids that live next door (they play right in front of our side window)!
