Fab Freebie: It’s A One-derful Life

Toss on some old clothes, because four of you are about to get painting. This week’s giveaway will cover everything you’ll need, starting with $60 worth of Olympic ONE paint. ONE is Olympic’s new paint + primer in… wait for it… one. It hides stains, resists mildew, and survives scrubbing. And at about $25 per can, you’ll be able to score at least two cans with your prize (and maybe even an extra quart).

But you can’t paint without the proper supplies, so the folks over at StackExchange are also hooking up our four lucky winners with a bunch of stuff that we hand-picked for ya (cause we paint kind of a lot, actually). So we know good rollers, Frog Tape, a drop cloth, and a short handled brush can come in handy. If you still need another boost to get painting, head over to one of StackExchange’s 50+ community-driven Q&A sites. Their DIY channel in particular is always abuzz with topics like “What is low VOC paint?” or “Can you paint a popcorn ceiling?”

    One thing I want to know is…when the previous owners of our house painted, and they slipped with the roller and hit the window, why didn’t they clean it up, instead of leaving it for me to discover and have to scrape off with a knife?

    ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW IS . . . why is everyone’s kid allergic to peanuts and gluten all of a sudden???????? I’m pretty sure the cure for Cancer, AIDS, MS, etc. exsist and I’d really like to know when we can benefit from such cures :)
    AND, when will my hair look the way I think it should?

    (Side note: Growing up, I always imagined somewhere at the end of this massive space we are in there is a white picket fence and then like a white backdrop…)

    One thing I want to know is…
    How I’m going to paint my 20 foot ceiling on a shoestring budget. I seems that renting scaffolding costs an arm and a leg and forget about hiring pro painters!

    The quickest and easiest way to remove really old wallpaper without destroying the underneath drywall? If I’m going to be painting my bathroom, I will first be removing some awful wallpaper…!

    ONE THING I WANT TO KNOW IS, how do you get paint out of the dogs tail? JK, she likes to lay against freshly painted walls so she must like the painted tail too.

    for real though, i just met a guy in Lowes who was a ONE dealer and he was really cool and gave me painting advice while making his delivery and talked me into buying ONE for my hallway and guest room and they turned out great. Now for some free paint and primer in one to do the kitchen and to cover up BAD paint decisions I made in the dining room!
