Back when I lived in Brooklyn there was this cool dishware store down the street called Fishs Eddy that I loved. Last Christmas I even bought Sherry two coffee mugs from there. And now, in what can only be called a full circle moment, we’re teaming up with them for a giveaway for you guys. They’ve got tons of fun colorful patterns so we’ve put together three around-$50 prize packages of our favorites: the Food Bank pattern (which benefits the NYC Food Bank), the always-classic 212 New York Skyline pattern, and the playful Charley Harper pattern. So each of our TWO winners will get to pick their favorite collection and take it home.

I love love love seafood. But only until recently. Growing up, my grandparents lived on Cape Cod and I refused to eat seafood. As an adult my husband convinced me to try it again and now I can’t get enough – boy did I miss out!

I love most seafoods…except clams, oysters, and scallops, it’s gotta be something to do with texture. Papaya is a no go for me for that reason too. Blech!

I grew up in a small fishing village on an island so I LOVE all kinds of seafood, but am also very snobby about freshness so you won’t find me buying any in the frozen food aisle. Fresh caught this morning? I’m in! Frozen fish sticks? No way!

I love seafood but only eat it if I catch it myself (or personally know the person who does) because commercial fishing practices are so damaging to the environment and have enormous amounts of bycatch (i.e., fish that are killed but not consumed and therefore die for no reason).
