Back when I lived in Brooklyn there was this cool dishware store down the street called Fishs Eddy that I loved. Last Christmas I even bought Sherry two coffee mugs from there. And now, in what can only be called a full circle moment, we’re teaming up with them for a giveaway for you guys. They’ve got tons of fun colorful patterns so we’ve put together three around-$50 prize packages of our favorites: the Food Bank pattern (which benefits the NYC Food Bank), the always-classic 212 New York Skyline pattern, and the playful Charley Harper pattern. So each of our TWO winners will get to pick their favorite collection and take it home.

I’ve always HATED seafood – or at least the smell of it. It smelled so gross to me, I wouldn’t put it near my mouth.
Except salmon – that stuff is GOOD. And recently, I’ve taken a huge liking to crab cakes. And this year, at the ripe old age of 36, I tasted some shrimp and a scallop, and while I had to fight waves of nausea to put them near my mouth, they didn’t taste horrible.
Maybe there’s hope for me yet.

Typically, I’ll eat only certain types of seafood. Shrimp is definitely one of my favorites, with crabcakes a close second. However, I’ve been trying to eat more fish lately because I know it’s healthy. Not a big fan of oysters, mussels, etc., though.
