Back when I lived in Brooklyn there was this cool dishware store down the street called Fishs Eddy that I loved. Last Christmas I even bought Sherry two coffee mugs from there. And now, in what can only be called a full circle moment, we’re teaming up with them for a giveaway for you guys. They’ve got tons of fun colorful patterns so we’ve put together three around-$50 prize packages of our favorites: the Food Bank pattern (which benefits the NYC Food Bank), the always-classic 212 New York Skyline pattern, and the playful Charley Harper pattern. So each of our TWO winners will get to pick their favorite collection and take it home.

Shellfish is my favorite although it requires some work – peeling shrimp, picking mussels out of their shells, nutcracker-ing that stubborn lobster tail. But I am a believer in no pain no gain!

Fish me! I love salmon, shrimp and lots of fish kinds but can’t “take” hearing the crunching of the hard shells when eating lobster, etc. so that’s off my personal list! And since I used to see slimy crawdads in the ditches of my Texas city, I know can’t eat crawfish either–ha! Used to play with them as a kid and they just look too similar to me now, ha….

Mmmmk. Me no likie very much seafood. Deep fried catfish is edible and I like some tuna but that’s it. So far. There may be something yum in the seafood area that I haven’t tried yet, but I am not going to go on a hunt for it.
Have cleaned squid though. Lemon juice on the hands afterwards. That is the key.

“FISH ME”…. OH MY GOODNESS…seafood is my absolute fav! I grew up on the eastern shore…where crabs covered in OLD Bay seasoning is a Summer MUST HAVE….and now i live in the midwest where the closest thing to seafood is Red Lobster. If you have never tried OLD BAY…your missing out!!

BONUS QUESTION: I love almost all kinds of seafood! My family is all from Florida, so we grew up eating fresh (as in, we just caught) shrimp, snapper, etc. LOVE IT! The only kinds I won’t eat are the ones who are still in some kind of “skin”. Like, peel em’ shrimp. Deviled crab creeps me out. Why do you have to put it back in the body?! Ew.
Also, keeping my fingers doubled crossed for this giveaway! We have a NYC-themed kitchen. I can’t think of a more perfect fit!!!
